The Microsoft's Purchase of the Nokia's Device and Services division was announced last year and Completed in April. But the Microsoft had its eyes on the Nokia's trademark technology brands that have become synonymous with innovation and quality. A recent check into those well known Nokia trademarks has revealed that they are now owned by Microsoft Mobile Oy, the division created by Microsoft's acquisition of Nokia's Devices and Services division.
The big names on the list , which one would expect to see include are Lumia , ClearBlack and PureView. The ClearBlack refers to the two step polarization technology for Nokia's moderate to high-end displays which filter out certain wavelengths of light for those deep blacks.
Microsoft have seen the power of the Nokia brand names and trademarks in the market and has made a great move to make them their possession. over the years Nokia has done alright for itself and established well known trademarks in the tech world, Microsoft now takes in these names as their greater effort to conquer the world of smartphones.

The new MagaCamera app lets you to turn your photo into cartoons , and applies effects in real-time when you're pointing your camera at something. You can download additional frames apart from one that come with app, and the app also registers itself in the lenses menu so you can access it right from the default camera app on Windows Phone.
As for paper Artist, it's basically a more advanced version of MagaCamera as it allows you to put different types of filters on photos instead of just cartoons. You can either import photos or take new ones with effects shown in real-time. Both MagaCamera and Paper Artist allow you to share edited images through the Share option.

This program which starts on June 26 offers to pay $100,000 USD for finding the exploits in the Windows 8.1 preview. Windows 8.1 is an update to Microsoft's brand new operating system Windows 8. Microsoft clearly want's to leave nothing to chance a far as securing the operating system is concerned.
In-order to participate in this program Microsoft indicated that individual must be at least 14 years old. They have also posted on the quality or submition of the entries should be. Though there are no restrictions on the number of qualified submissions an individual submitter can submit and be paid for ,all bounties will be paid out at Microsoft's direction, which may indeed be less than $100,000.
Microsoft is also offering an additional $50,000 BlueHat Bonus for those who submit a valid defense to block a bypass technique that qualifies for a bounty, making the total potential reward to $150,000 USD.
Microsoft has also announced other programs such as separate bounty for Internet Explorer and is said to pay up to $11,000 USD for critical vulnerabilities for IE 11 on Windows 8.1 Preview
After the long await the Microsoft Office package is now coming to Apple iPhone for the first time. the version of the Office that is to be available is the Office Mobile , which is nearly identical to apps that already exist on Windows Phone . The Package comes with friendly version of Word , Excel and PowerPoint but not other Office apps such as Outlook.
Creating a version of Office for iPhone fits with Microsoft's new strategy of treating it's service as platform-agnostic and it comes to iOS long after other Microsoft apps,including OneNote and Lync . Microsoft comes with the new Office 365 as a subscription service, accessible from many device rather than a one-time download for one machine.
This app will be available to iPhone owners in the U.S today and in international markets early next week .This app can be downloaded by anyone but only the subscribers to Office 365 will be able to use it. The iPhone doesn't count to against a subscriber's five supported devices, and a single account support up to five iPhone.

Microsoft's Surface tablet running a full version of windows 8 Pro will start selling in january for $899 and up, thecompany said Thursday. But you'll have to pay more if you want keyboard cover and the popular office suit of software. The current Surface tablet uses the slimmed down Windows RT operating system . As result ,it runs only specially designed applications from Microsoft and others sold through the company's online store . The Pro version of surface will also run regular windows applications written for desktops and laptops. "It's a full PC and a Tablet, " Surface general manager Panos Panay wrote in a blog post Thursday. The surface represents Microsoft's first foray into manufaturing its own general-purpose computer . In doing so the company is competing with some of its partners, the manufatures of PC's and tablets . The Announced Price is in line wiyh Microsoft Corp's earlier statements that Pro version would cost about the same slim , lightweight laptops known as Ultrabooks. The Price includes a stylus and software that disregards touches from one's Palm while writing on the touch screen .But the detachable touch-sensitive keyboard cover is sold seperatively .The Touch Cover with keys printed o n it cost $ 120, while the Type depressable key is priced at $ 130. Microsoft crop opened its Windows 8 operating system for preorders on friday, setting the price for the full version of the software at $70 for a DVD pack. Users can also wait for launch on october 26 to download the system onto their computer for $40, an offer price that will expire at end of january. Shoppers can reserve the software pack at Microsoft own stores , Amazon.com,Best Buy, Staples and elsewhere. The price tag is significantly lower than the current price for a comparable version of windows 7, which cost $200. Any customer who buys, or already bought a windows 7 PC between june 2 and end of january 2013 will be able to get an upgrade to windows 8 pro for $15, a move designed to prevent a drop-off in pc sales before the launch of Windows 8. Microsoft also said PC makers as Acer, Asustech , Dell, HP, Ssamsung,and Sony were also now taking pre-order for machines with Windows 8 pre-installed. The world's largest software company did not mention its own Surface tablet PC , which is expected on the market at the same time as windows 8. Microsoft has not revelead Specification or price of the product .
