HP Slate 21 all-in-one


Well Android is the leading mobile Operating system but what will happen if this operating system system is used on your desktop ? . Well HP sure has the answer for your queries, the new HP Slate 21 All-in-One.

The HP Salte 21 is a desktop computer works on Google's Operating System Android. HP today launched the device in an event in Beijing. Dubbed as HP Slate 21  this all-in-one comes with 21.5-inch touch diaplay with a resolution of 1920 x 1080p . The device is powered by Nvidia Tegra 4 processor.

HP Slate 21 runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean).The internal storage of the device is about 8 GB with an expandable option with microSD.The device support Bluetooth, USB 2.0 , DTS Sound technology , Wireless Direct and HP True vision HD Webcam. The Salte 21 comes with kickstand that enables users to adjust the display angle anywhere between 15 to 75 degrees.

The device will be available in US from September 2013. the price of this device is about  $399.

With its 21.5-inch IPS full HD display , at 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution you can easily share the screen with more than one person, whether you prop it up by its memory hing or lie it flat on a table. Unlike other all-in ones, the slate 21 skips on internal storage to cut cost. In fact , it only offers 8 GB of on-board storage. HP expects that you will be sharing the Slate 21 with other users, so the device lets you setup maximum of five profiles, meaning you can customize the apps that you and other users see.

"Customers are looking for technology that simplifies their lives keeping them connected to the entertainment they enjoy and the content they need," said Jun Kim , vice president and general manager, PC Display and Accessories, HP.

Hp slate 21 joins the range of slate-series android devices that this computer maker is offering. Under this series Hp had introduced SlateBook x2 in May.

HP ELITEPAD 900

Technology company Hewlett Packard (HP) Thursday entered the table market in india , launching HP ElitePad, designed for bussiness and governments.

" The tablet replaces primary computing devices and provides an eco-system which addresses the requirements of the enterprise, " Sunish Raghavan, head, commercial PC category, printing and personal systems group, HP India, told reports here.

The Ultra thin , lightweight tablet with Windows 8 comes with optional smart jackets, which add connectivity options and an additional batteery for longer runtime.

The price of the tablet starts at Rs 43,500.

Raghavan said the tablet with enterprise-grade feature fuilfilled the needs of mobility and productivity while ensuring security.It offered a solution to the problems faced by enterprises with their employees craying multiple devices, compromising data security. It encompassed all features of a notebook and if the device is lost , one can remotely trace it and erace the data.

The battery support the tablet for eight hours but with expanded battery it can be used for 19 hours . the other features of the 0.63 kg and 9.2 mm thin tablet include 10.1 inch diagonal and e-printing.
