It's becoming quite common for devices to get listed with popular online retailers close to their official launch date. One such device is the Xolo A1000 that is now available Rs 13,999. The delivery details show shipping time of 7-8 days.
The dual-SIM Xolo A1000 will be the last device imthe Xolo series , which is expected to be officially launched on Febuary 18 2013 priced between Rs 12,000 to Rs15,000. It is the first 5-inch device from the company and marks its entry into the phablet arena. The Xolo A1000 will also be directly competing with the recently launched Micromax A116 canvas HD at Rs 13,990.
Specs wise , the Xolo A1000 deploys one glass solution(OGS) and just 8.8 mm thick. It sports a 5-inch 720p IPS display. Internally ,the phone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Mediatek MT6577 processor as seen in the Xolo A700 and Xolo A800. The Micromax A116 canvas HD boasts a bigger 1.2 GHz Mediatek MT6589 quad-core processor.
Other spec on the Xolo A1000 includes 1GB RAM, 8 MP autofocus rear snapper with auto LED flash, a 1.2 Mp front camera and a 2100 mAh battery powering the phone.The device support dual-sim functionallity. The internal storage is 4GB and is expandable upto 32GB.
Connectivity options on the device include the usual Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, USB and GPRS. It comes pre-installed with the stock Android and Opera Mini web browsers.

Sony is all set to launch its latest set of flagship smartphones in Germany. If reports in Telecompaper are to be belived , then Xperia ZL will be making its way to retail shelves in the country by April 2013. The smartphone will be carrying a price tag of 599.99 euros
Sony had unveiled its Xperia Z and Xperia ZL smartphones at the Consumer Electronics show (CES) 2013. Just a few days ago, Sony Xperia Z (SO-02E) started retailing in japan through the telecom operator NTT Docomo for 80430 Yen.
Furthermore , it is expected that this smartphone will be available in europe by the end of februray and make its way to india by March.
However ,for now there is no news of when Xperia ZL will be available in other markets.Just to recap Sony Xperia ZL sports a 5-inch screen with 1080 display , which has 443ppi. It also comes with Sony BRAVIA video processor.
The device will run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) out of the box along with a layer of Timescape UI. There is a 13-Mp rear camera along with Sony's EXMOR RS sensors
. Xperia ZL comes witth 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor , 2GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 32GB via microSD card. There is 2370 mAh Li-ion battery on-board. Unlike the Xperia Z , this smartphone is not dust and water resistant.

Sony has Oficially anounced the launch of the Xperia Micro, Xperia SL and Xperia J smartphones in india . The latest addition to the Xperia Series are now available across major retail outlets in the country.
The Xperia Micro was anounced way back in june along with Xperia tipo and tipo dual smartphones. More recentlay the smartphone was available in country on flipkart as well as Sony's offical website for Rs 15,249/-
The Sony Xperia Micro is powered by an 800 MHz processor with 512 MB RAM . It has 3GB internal storage expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card. It will come in 4 colours: black,gold pink and silver.
The Sony Xperia XL now officially priced at Rs 32,549/- has been available for a month via various online retailers. This Xpreria smart phone features a 4.3-inch scratch resistant TFT display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. It runs on Android 4.0 and is powered by a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm dual core processor hosting 1GB RAM.
A sucessor to the Xperia S, the Smartphone offers 32Gb internal storage and also features like NFC capablities and FM radio and lot more.
The Xperia j was released alongside the Xperia V and the xperia T smartphones and recently went up for pre-order . it is now priced at Rs 18,399. The device is 9.2 mm thick and has a 4-inch display which is capacitive touch screen with gorilla glass coating . It runs in Android 4.0. Sony has also slashed prices of its existing range of xperia smartphones earlier this month for the festive season . The device that got price cut across all market were Xperia U, Xperia P, Xperia GO and Xperia ION.
