Samsung Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S III Price Cuts in India

Samsung India has dropped the price of its flagship smartphone the Galaxy S III, as well as the hot-selling phablet the Galaxy Note II.

Samsung Galaxy S III is now official retail stores across the country for Rs 28,990 with the Galaxy Note II now retailing for Rs 34,990. Some dealers have been spotted selling at even lower prices online as well as offline.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S III in india back in May last year for MRP of Rs 43,180. The  phone comes with a 4.8-inch display and is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad -core processor alongside  1Gb of RAM. It features a 8-MP rear camera as well as a 1.9 MP front camera . The Phone Shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but has since recived the Jelly Bean update.

Samsung Galaxy Note II is the sucessor to the Galaxy Note Original Phablet that started the craze of large screen phones.

In November , samsung announced sales of this phablet had topped 3 million units in the first 5 weeks . By the end of the month , the Korean manufacturer reported  that the sales of its device topped 5 million.

Samsung Launches Galaxy S3 Mini

Samsung thursday unveild the Galaxy S 3 mini, a compact version of the flagship smartphone Galaxy S 3 .The Galaxy S 3 mini features a 4-inch screen and runs in Android 4.1 jelly bean. The Samsung Galaxy S 3 mini is powred by a dual-core 1 GHz processor and features a 5 MP camera . It has a 1500 mAh battery and 8/16GB internal storage options. "the Galaxy S 3 introduced anew consept of smartphone  that has proven hugely popular arond the world .We're now delighted to bring its revolutionary design , intutive usablity and intelligence to the Galaxy S 3 mini in more compact form" said JK Shin President and Head of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics . The  Galaxy S 3 mini inherits  Galaxy S 3's features like voice , smart stay, Direct call and S Beam. A voice, Samsung 's natural language recoginition software etc and many more. 

        The Galaxy S 3 mini also comes with smart stay, where in the phones camera tracks your eyes and keeps the screen lit as long as you are looking at it . when reading a text message from friend , Direct call enableds you to automatically dial a call simply by lifting the phone to rear. The S beam feature lets you share  a 10 MB music file in just two seconds by simply taping on another S beam enabled device . The price of the phone is not released yet.
