NOKIA LUMIA 1020 LAUNCHED

 

Nokia  has today launched  their new flagship device  Nokia Lumia 1020, the second generation of Nokia's massive 41-megapixel sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS ) smartphone. The Nokia is confident that their new 41 MP camera phone can produce some of the sharpest image possible by any digital camera.

The new Nokia Lumia 1020 is a Windows-powered phone with six physical lenses and optical image stabilization and can handle sound pressure levels six times louder than conventional microphones.

The phone which will be sold in the US market this month and in Europe and china in the coming weeks , features anew photo application designed for professional quality images. Using a feature called dual capture Nokia was able to simultaneously take a high resolution 38 megapixel image for editing opportunities and five-megapixel picture that is easy to share on the social networks

On mission to make it easier for people to capture better photos, Nokia  was able to reinvent zoom by combining their next-gen 41 megapixel sensor, ZEISS optics with six lenses and OIS. With this feature you can zoom into details of every shot-over -sampling the result -making your photography sharper and cleaner than ever before.

 Nokia Lumia 1020 enables you to point and shoot without worrying about missing the moment and then re-frame the photo afterwards to make it perfect using the new Nokia Pro Camera application.Nokia has seen its past glory fade under pressure of competition from Apple and Asian mobile makers, but now it seems they are ready for a come back.Microsoft and Nokia joined forces about two years ago in alliance aimed at marketing inroads with handsets powered with Windows Phone Software.

 Nokai Lumia 1020 comes with 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 with 2.5 D sculpted Corning Gorilla 3 Glass, ClearBlack, high brightness mode, sunlight readability, super sensitive touch etc. The device is powered with 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and consist of 2 GB of RAM. The Internal storage of the device is up to 32 GB with a 7 GB free Skydive cloud storage.

The Main camera of the device is  PureView 41-MP with optical image stabilization, resolution 7712 x 5360
and Xenon Flash for still images, LED Flash for videos. The front facing Camera is 1.2 MP wide angle HD camera.

The Phone comes with 20000 mAh battery with support of wireless charging supported via cover. This phone may cost about $699.
