HTC DROID DNA
Over the past few years , Smartphones have gradually gotten bigger and tablets computers have gotten smaller . So it should come as no surprise that devices in between are starting to emerge.
These Android devices, informally known as tablets, are better described as giant phones than baby tablets, as they can be used for phone calls. And for now, they aren't much bigger than regular phones.
The larger screens - measuring 5 inches or more diagonally make the devices slightly better for watching movies, reading books and consuming other media. They can also make the phones bulkier to carry-or so i thought.
I was pleasantly surprised when i took HTC Corp's new 5-inch Droid DNA phone out of the box. The DNA looks about the same size as 4.8-inch Samsung Galaxy S III, one of the largest and most popular phones out there.
HTC succeeds by making the DNA taller rather than wider, which is important because yhe width is what spans your palm when you are holding it. Samsung Electronics Co's 5.5-inch Galaxy Note II feels too big in my hands.
The Droid DNA comes with a 5-inch super LED Capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels. With a 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash you can take HD video and image recording, geotaging, face and smile detection. The phone is powered by Android 4.1 as operating system with a Quad-core 1.5 GHz karit processor and 2GB RAM , also comes with 16GB internal memory. The only problem is that there is no extra memory card slot to expand memory.
The 2020 mAh battery belivers a standby time up to 353 hours and 12 hours of talk time. The phone also ssupport LTE and has a weight of 141.7 g. This phone may cost you about $200.
