MICROSOFT OFFICE 365 NOW ON APPLE IPHONE

After the long await the Microsoft Office package is now coming to Apple iPhone for the first time. the version of the Office that is to be available is the Office Mobile , which is nearly identical to apps that already exist on Windows Phone . The Package comes with friendly version of Word , Excel and PowerPoint but not other Office apps such as Outlook.

Creating a version of Office for iPhone fits with Microsoft's new  strategy of treating it's service as platform-agnostic  and it comes to iOS long after other Microsoft apps,including OneNote and Lync .  Microsoft comes with the new Office 365 as a subscription service, accessible from many device rather than a one-time download for one machine.

This app will be available to iPhone owners in the U.S today and in international markets early next week .This app can be downloaded by anyone but only the subscribers to Office 365 will be able to use it. The app prompts you to sign in  with your Office or Microsoft account at start up. The iPhone doesn't count to against a subscriber's five supported devices, and a single account support up to five iPhone.

The recent leaks also shows  that Office will also comes to iPad and today's announcement only apply to iPhone.

The regular version of the Office works on Windows 8 tablets and most of the features are available on a version designed for tablets running a lightweight version of Windows called RT.Customers need to use Office on larger screen than a phone might be drawn to Windows tablets, which have lagged behind in sales and cachet compared with Apple's iPad and various devices running Google's Android System.

The documents will be reformatted to fit the phone's Screen, the company said that iPhone app will preserve charts, animation,comments and other key properties. that's not always the case with programs offered by Google and other companies to work with Office files on mobile devices.

Microsoft , which is based in Redmond , Wash, already makes a version for phones running it's Windows Phone 8 Operating system. An Office 365 subscription isn't required for that, and those apps do not count towards the five mobile permitted for each subscription
